The Professional Development Academy on Improving Reading CD Contents: Paraphrasing

In 2003, KUCRL produced a series of CDs called the Virtual Professional Development Academy on Reading. The CDs were developed to support professional development of three SIM Reading Strategies: Paraphrasing, Word Identification and Visual Imagery.  Very sadly, as often happens with technology tools, the CDs no longer function on today's computers.  We have pulled some of the contents of the Paraphrasing CD and hope you might be able to use them as a part of your practice.
