Awarding a Micro-Credential
When your learner has completed all of the requirements for the credential to your satisfaction, notify KUCRL at simpd@ku.edu. Provide the date awarded and a brief statement about why you have awarded this credential to this learner. This statement will be attached to the learner’s credential, including your name as the awarding SIM Professional Developer, and may be viewed by the public. Upon receiving your request, staff at KUCRL will “flip the switch” to notify Badge List to award the credential.
What Comes Next...
- Let others know about your achievement! Display your credential on your teacher resource webpage or e-portfolio. Post it on your LinkedIn page and as a part of your email auto-signature. Post it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media.
- For those earning a Specialist Credential in a Content Enhancement Routine or Learning Strategy, you will receive access to a folder of materials that you can use as you teach others to use that strategy or routine.
